Lexus NX300h Price Announced; Starts At ₹ 53.18 Lakh

This is the fourth model in Lexus India’s portfolio.

After showcasing the NX 300h in the country last month, Lexus India has announced the prices of its fourth model in the country. The NX 300h will be available in two variants – NX 300h Luxury priced at ₹ 53.18 lakhs and NX 300h F-Sport priced at ₹ 55.58 lakhs (ex-showroom, pan-India).

Akitoshi Takemura, President, Lexus India, said, “Keeping in mind our young guests, we have priced the NX 300h at an attractive price point. The design and engineering of this vehicle absolutely delights and now the pricing will excite a whole new category of guests in India. Our price approach for the NX 300h is in accord with Government’s vision and we call it ‘one nation, one price’ making it advantageous for our guests. Keeping in mind the NX 300h’s launch price, this is indeed the most opportune time to acquire a Lexus.”

The NX 300h is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine coupled to an electric motor and a CVT. Total power output of the powertrain is 194-bhp/210-Nm and its ARAI rated mileage figure is 18.32 km/l.

The NX 300h features details like triple projector beam headlamps, Lexus signature large Spindle grille, coupe like sloping roofline and arrow shaped LED tail-lamps. On the inside the NX 300h will come loaded with a 10.3-inch split-screen infotainment screen, heads-up display, 14-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, folding and power reclining rear seats, etc. Safety features included will be 360-degree surround view system which takes feed from four high-definition cameras, ABS, vehicle stability control, anti-theft system, 8-airbags, etc.

Lexus builds the NX 300h in Japan and it will be imported to India as a CBU (completely built unit). Considering it is a CBU and attracts maximum duty, Lexus has managed to price it on par with its locally assembled competition like the Mercedes GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5 and the Volvo XC60 (CBU at the moment).

Deliveries of the Lexus NX 300h will only begin sometime at the end of the first quarter of 2018.
