The Nissan Kicks compact SUV has finally been launched and is priced in the range of ₹ 9.55 lakh to ₹ 14.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in two petrol and four diesel variants. Nissan India will also be offering a subscription package with a running cost of ₹ 11/km for those who don’t wish to purchase the vehicle outright.

The Nissan Kicks is based on the B0 platform which also underpins the Renault Duster, Captur and the Nissan Terrano. The Kicks is 4384mm long, 1813mm wide, 1656mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2673mm. The ground clearance is 210mm.

 

Powering the Nissan Kicks is either a 1.5-litre diesel (108bhp/240Nm) or a 1.5-litre petrol (104bhp/142Nm) coupled to a 6-speed manual and 5-speed manual transmission respectively. The ARAI rated mileage figure for the diesel is 19.39km/l (20.45km/l for base variant) while the petrol is rated at 14.23km/l.

 

Standard features across all variants of the Nissan Kicks include LED DRLs, 16-inch wheels, 6-way adjustable driver's seat, automatic AC, electrically adjustable ORVMs, dual driver and passenger airbag, ABS+EBD and brake assist. The other features in the Kicks (depending on variant) include driver and passenger side airbags, LED projector headlamps, 17-inch allow wheels, functional roof rail, rear AC vents, rear wiper, automatic headlamps and wipers, 360-degree camera, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear parking sensors, cruise control, leather seats with contrast stitching, etc.

 

The Nissan Kicks is available in 11 colours – Pearl White, Blade Silver, Bronze Grey, Fire Red, Amber Orange, Deep Blue Pearl, Night Shade, Fire Red and Onyx Black, Bronze Grey and Amber Orange, Pearl White and Onyx Black and Pearl White and Amber Orange. The customer can also customise the Kicks with 27 different accessory categories which come with a 1-year/20,000 km warranty.

 

Nissan is offering packages covering maintenance, 24x7 road side assistance, and insurance and warranty packages offering savings up to 30% compared to regular maintenance. For the first 10,000 customers, Nissan is offering the Kicks with a 3-year warranty, maintenance package (up to 30,000 km) and 24x7 road side assistance free of charge. Customers can extend it to 5-years with a nominal fee.
